    Our journey

A truck could save Lobitos from plastic pollution!
    9,600 kg
Talara's proximity to the sea and its open landfill system creates imminent environmental problems. The town of Lobitos is particularly at risk. Due to strong winds and frequent rainfall, waste from the area has a high risk of contaminating the ocean. Plastic Corporation faces the challenge of a lack of transportation options to expand our plastic waste collection to areas with poor waste management like Lobitos. This deficit means plastic waste ends up directly in the ocean, further exacerbating already severe pollution levels. As a solution, we plan to purchase a 4-ton truck that can collect 500 kilograms of plastic waste per week from Lobitos and similar areas. Our goal is to strengthen the collection of plastic waste in Lobitos to prevent ocean pollution. Our proposed truck would not only allow us to collect waste from this fragile area, but also distribute our innovative plastic wood product, reducing ocean pollution and deforestation. We intend to establish a strong partnership with the City of Lobitos to optimize plastic waste collection. Local recyclers will become our main partners, selling plastic waste to us directly from the source. This new truck will ensure this waste reaches our factory efficiently where it is converted into our plastic lumber. This move will solidify our commitment to Lobitos and highlight our ongoing efforts to reduce our plastic footprint and protect its beautiful coastal environment.

    Sustainable inclusive playground!
    Active
    65 / 2,400 kg
Our mission is to transform the plastic banana bags and nun necks waste encountered in the environment into a strong and sustainable inclusive playground made of plastic wood. With this initiative we seek to support and help the children of the María Reyna de La Paz school, an inclusive public institution that is scarce in resources. Our project will reuse approximately 800 kilograms of plastic. With this extensive collection, we are ready to build the necessary playground structures, including handrails, a castle, a swing, and ramps to ensure their joy and inclusion. We are working closely with the Rotary Club of Sullana, making this initiative extend its reach beyond the playground. We will develop environmental education programs and awareness workshops aimed at integrating environmental sensibility into the community. By combining environmental responsibility with community empowerment, our projects work to promote circular economy principles, reduce environmental impact and, most importantly, improve the lives of disadvantaged children by ensuring they have spaces where they feel valued and included.

What is a Plastic Credit (PC)?

The Plastic Credit (PC) is an NFT. The PC is rooted in real recovery data and is accessible for anyone to view. The information is stored on the blockchain for transparency, and traceability and is represented as a digital certificate.

A PC is proof that plastic was recovered and recycled.

You will receive the PC when you support the recovery of plastic. The images shown are from the flora & fauna from the location where the plastic is recovered.
